Mark is a very active life member of the Dallas Safari Club where he serves as membership chairman for the annual convention and volunteers with youth activities. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys improving raw property to create prime recreational and hunting retreats. Over the last 25 years, Mark has bought and sold more than 20 properties as personal investments. He also served 14 years on the TCEQвЂ™s Municipal Solid Waste and Resource Recovery Council where he gained expertise in EECs (Existing Environment Conditions), ESAs and regulations.

During his 24 years at Living Earth, Mark oversaw dozens of real estate transactions for the company. With Mark as its president and chief executive officer, Living Earth grew to 34 locations with 270 employees in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Houston, Nashville, and Knoxville. While he was in high school, Mark worked for a mulch and soil company, an experience that ultimately led him to found his own mulch and soil company, Living Earth, with his wife, Peggy, in 1990.
